The Hundred Year Stone, Derwent Water

The 'Hundred Year Stone' is a sculpture by Peter Randall-Page located on the shore of Derwent Water between Calf Close Bay and Broomhill Point. It was made in 1995 to celebrate the Centenary of the National Trust. The scupture is made from a glacial boulder (andesite) from Borrowdale. Depending on the season and the water level of the lake, it may be semi or even fully submerged.
