Seldom Seen, Haydon Bridge


Seldom Seen is a farm in Northumberland, located off Stanegate, about 2½ miles NNW of Haydon Bridge. The farm is situated by Honeycrook Burn. To the north-west of Seldom Seen, by Stanegate, are the buried remains of a temporary Roman Camp - a Scheduled Monument. The fort is overlain by medieval or post-medieval ridge and furrow.[1]
