"Lead Mill manager's house. Early C19 for 3rd Earl of Darlington. Coursed squared sandstone with quoins and sandstone dressings; stone-flagged roof with stone and brick chimneys. 2-storey, 3-bay house and set-back left wing one storey, 2 bays....."
