DescriptionFormer Primitive Methodist church, built in 1833, is on the far right of photo. It was built of local stone and had a stone slate roof. During the week it was used as a day school (as in some other chapels at this period). A new chapel was built in 1878 and the old chapel used as a school room. The ‘new’ chapel is now used as the local library. Photograph in private ownership.
