Allendale centre showing the former Primitive Methodist chapel.(to the right of it the chapel which was built initially and then used as the school room to the big new church.) First chapel (the school room) was built in 1833, to be replaced by the bigger and better building (now the library) in 1878. Photograph in private ownership.
