The photograph shows the pedestrian bridge which crossed the bottom of Northumberland Street. One side of the bridge was on Blackett Street and the other on New Bridge Street. 'Burton' can be seen on the corner of Blackett Street and Northumberland Street. 'Pearl Assurance Buildings' are on the corner of Northumberland Street and New Bridge Street. 'Cook's' is on the ground floor of the Pearl Assurance Buildings.
