    "...Administrative / biographical background: An all age Church of England School was built at Bedlington Station in October 1856. The infants became a separate department in 1907. The school was discontinued in 1941 and children transferred to Bedlington Station Senior School, Bedlington Station Junior School and Barrington junior and infants school. There was a change of buildings also at this date and the school eventually became a county first school....."
