Railway Arch, St Nicholas' Street


The arch which carries the railway over St Nicholas Street in Newcastle was built in 1848 by Abbot and Co. of Gateshead.[1] The arch is 300 metres east of Newcastle Central Station and is situated between Black Gate and Newcastle Keep. The railway arch is Grade II listed.
