Outward Bound Eskdale


Outward Bound Eskdale is run by The Outward Bound Trust. The centre is located at the north-east side of Eskdale Green, by a tarn (lake). The building is dated 1896, originally built as a house, designed by A. Huddart of Whitehaven, for James H. Rea. The building, once known a Gate House, is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
