Old Milestone, Wigton Road, Carlisle


There is an old milestone beside Wigton Road (A595) at the junction with Suttle Lane in the Morton area of Carlisle. The milestone was erected by the Cockermouth & Carlisle turnpike trust in the 19th century. It is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
