Old Milestone, Warwick Street, Botcherby


There is an old milestone by Warwick Road (A69) in Botcherby, Carlisle, east of Botcherby Bridge over the River Petteril. It was erected by the Carlisle and Brampton turnpike trust in the 19th century. The milestone has had its mileage plates removed, originally indicating:
