No. 2, The Abbey, Carlisle


No. 2, The Abbey is a 17th century house located between Abbey Gateway and the Cathedral in Carlisle. It was built in the late 17th century with an early 18th century rear extension. There were further alterations and additions by C.J. Ferguson in 1888. Originally a prebendal house, it is now privately occupied. No. 2, The Abbey is Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England.
