Newtown Primary School, Carlisle

Newtown Primary School is located on Raffles Avenue, off Newtown Road in Carlisle. It is an academy sponsor led primary school with about 120 pupils aged 3 to 11.[1] It became part of Cumbria Education Trust in September 2020, prior to that it was Newtown Community Primary School. Signage on the building indicates it was previously called Newton School. National Archives have records for Newtown Council School, from 1911-1916, which was presumably here at this same school building.
