New Kyo

New Kyo is a village in County Durham, in England. It is situated close to the A693 road between Annfield Plain and Stanley, and is slightly larger than nearby East Kyo and West Kyo, containing a housing estate, a garage and the King's Head ice cream company. In the early 2000s New Kyo doubled in population after the demolition of its school and the construction of a new housing estate.
