Needless Hall Moor
Needless Hall Moor (aka Needlesshallmoor) is a farm in Northumberland, located in Hartburn Civil Parish. The farmhouse here dates from the 18th century and was remodelled in the early 19th century. Whellan's 1855 Directory of Northumberland lists Needless Hall Moor under the township of East Thornton, in the ancient parish of Hartburn, and the farmer at that time was William Swan.[1] The farmhouse is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
