Morpeth Station


The railway station in Morpeth was originally buit in 1847 by John Green for the York, Newcastle and Berwick Railway. The platform canopies were added in c.1890. The station was also the easterly terminus of the Wansbeck Line, which closed in 1966. Morpeth Station is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
