    "View SW, towards Newcastle and the South on the ECML, also (formerly) Reedsmouth etc. Until 3/4/50 ex-NER trains came from Bedlington to the bay platform on the Up side (left), while until 3/10/66 an ex-NBR branch joined a half-mile towards Newcastle, being latterly (until 3/10/66) goods-only from Woodburn, but as well until 15/9/52 passenger trains came from Reedsmouth and from Rothbury via Scotsgap."
