Lych Gate to St Mungo's Church, Simonburn
The Lych Gate forms the entrance to St Mungo's Church in Simonburn. It is inscribed: "To the Glory of God In memory of Lancelot John Hunter Allgood of Nunwick Esq. This gate is erected by his Kindred, Friends and Tenants A.D. 1885". The Lych Gate is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
