Lowlynn
Lowlynn (aka Low Lynn, Lowlin) is a distributed hamlet in Northumberland, which includes Lowynn Farm, Lowlynn House and Lowlynn Mill. It is located about 8 miles south of Berwick and 7 miles north-west of Belford. Lowlynn includes the site of the deserted medieval village of Low Lynn, which was first recorded in 1446.[1] Lowlynn House dates from the 18th century and is listed on the National Heritage List for England.[2] By the Lowlynn Mill is Lowlynn Bridge over the South Low. Historically, Beal with Lowlin was a township in the ancient parish of Kyloe. Today, Lowlynn is part of Kyloe Civil Parish.
