Keenley Thorn

Keenley Thorn is a farm in West Allen, located about 2 miles north-east of Ninebanks. Whellan's 1855 directory of Northumberland lists Robert Blair as farmer at Keenley Thorn, under the greiveship of Keenley in the ancient parish of Allendale. Today, Keenley Thorn is part of West Allen Civil Parish. There is a twin lime kiln to the south of Keenley Thorn.
