Hip Burn (river)

The Hip Burn is a small river in Northumberland, which discharges into the Aln estuary near Alnmouth. It is under 2 miles long, arising south-west of Bilton, flowing north-eastwards to the settlement of Hipsburn, which takes its name from the burn. It then flows east to join the River Aln.
