Hayton C of E Primary School


Hayton Church of England Primary School is located in the centre of Hayton in Cumbria. The Foundation school has about 150 pupils aged 3 to 11. The school building is dated 1818 on it's porch lintel and inscribed "AEDIF (&) AVCT 1853", with an extension dated 1871 with the initials of Thomas Henry Graham (of Edmond Castle). The school building is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
