God's Bridge


God's Bridge is a natural limestone span over the River Greta, located about 2 miles WSW of Bowes in County Durham. It is identified by Natural England as the best example of a natural limestone bridge in Britain. God's Bridge is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The Pennine Way footpath passes directly over the bridge.
