Friends Meeting House, Cockermouth

The Friends Meeting House (Quakers) is located on Kirkgate in Cockermouth. The current building was constructed in 1884, replacing an earlier meeting house of 1782, itself replacing an earlier building purchased in 1688.[1] The building was renovated in 1972. There is a Quaker Burial Ground at the ear of the building.
