Old Police Station, Blyth

The former Police Station is located on the south side of Bridge Street in Blyth. The Police Station was built in 1896 by John Cresswell, the County Architect. It is a distinctive red brick, Italianate Gothic style building, with carved detail and marble columns. The building incorporated a magistrates court and Sergeant's flat. The Police Station closed in 2015 and the new Blyth Neighbourhood Police Office is located at Arms Evertyne House on Quay Road. The former Police Station is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
