Felkington
Felkington is a small rural settlement in Northumberland, located a mile north of Duddo and just over 5 miles south-east of Berwick-upon-Tweed. In historical documents it is also recorded as Felkyngton, and there are records of a bastle (fortified farmhouse) there in the 16th century, at a time of hostilities with Scotland and frequent border raids, but nothing remains of the bastle to day.[1] Felkington is part of the civil parish of Duddo and today consists of a farm and a small number of cottages and farm buildings. The Bronze Age Duddo Stone Circle is located nearby.
