Elton


Elton is a village in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, located about 1 mile west of the urban areas of Stockton. St John the Baptist Church in the village has a history going back to the 12th Century. Historically, Elton was an ancient parish in County Durham. Today, the village and it's surrounding area form Elton Civil Parish, within the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees.
