The Crown Posada is a traditional public house located on The Side, Newcastle. It was built in 1880 by WL Newcombe. [1] The building is Grade 2 listed on the National Heritage List for England. "...a long narrow pub with two impressive stained glasswindows at the front depicting a lady serving a drink and a Tudor gent about to consume it. Ornate moulded ceiling and a four-bay mahogany bar-back. There is a delightful small screened-off snug at the front.."(CAMRA, 2006
