Crowberry Hall

Crowberry Hall is located about 2 miles south of Allendale Town, situated to the west of the River East Allen. Crowberry Burn (aka Crawberry Burn) flows nearby, joining the River East Allen, to the north-east of the Hall. Whellan's 1855 directory of Northumberland lists Thomas Henderson as farmer at Crowberry Hall.[1] Historically, Crowberry Hall was part of the greiveship of Park in the ancient parish of Allendale. Today, Crowberry Hall is part of Allendale Civil Parish.
