Cross House and Church View, Bowes


Cross House and Church View are a pair of houses, with a central segmental archway, located on The Street in Bowes. They date from c.1840 with later alterations. Together, Cross House and Church View are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England. Cross House (the house on the left) derives it's name from the Medieval Wayside Cross situated in it's front garden. Church View (on the right) have a good view of St Giles Church
