Cowclose Burn is a stream in Northumberland which is a tributary of the River Font. It is fed by several smaller burns, including Mere Burn, Cold Burn and Trewitley Burn. Cowclose Burn flows past the hamlet of Witton Shields before joining the River Font about half a mile south-west of Stanton. The Font itself is a tributary of the River Wansbeck.
