Close, No. 35 (Quayside Bar)

The Quayside (Wetherspoons, previously No 1 Llyods Bar) is a public house and restaurant at no. 35 Close, by the Newcastle Quayside. The building dates back to the 16th century and was previously known as Dove's Warehouse. The building is Grade 2* listed and is the only example of a late 16th century merchant's house with its own wharf remaining on the Close.[1]
