Church of St Peter and St Paul, Stainton

St Peter and St Paul's Church is located on Hemlington Road in Stainton. "There has probably been a Church serving the community in Stainton-in-Cleveland since the 7th Century, there  are substantial records to show that the Church and the living were given to the Priory of Gisburgh in 1247 and there is a continuity of vicars since that time." (Church Website)[1] The church tower was added in the 15th century. The Church is Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England.
