Church of St Kentigern, Mungrisedale


St Kentigern's Church in the village of Mungrisedale was built in 1756 on the site of an earlier medieval church. The church was restored in 1925. It is said that the first church on this site was founded by St. Kentigern himself in c.552 AD. St Kentigern's Church is a Grade II* listed building on the National Heritage List for England.
