Chaucer Buildings, Grainger Street, Newcastle


Nos. 53 to 61 (odd numbers), Grainger Street in Newcastle are known as the Chaucer Buildings. The Venetian Gothic style building is thought to have been designed by Gibson Kyle. It was built in c.1869 as shops, offices and a Freemasons Hall. The Chaucer Buildings are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
