Central Public Library, Middlesbrough
The Central Public Library is located on Centre Square in Middlesbrough. The building was designed by S.B. Russell and T.E. Cooper (London), and was part funded by Andrew Carnegie. The library was opened in 1912 by Alderman Amos Hinton. A rear extension was added to the library in 1977. The library is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
