Carterway Heads


Carterway Heads is a hamlet in Northumberland, located close to the county border with County Durham, about 3 miles west of Shotley Bridge. There are a small group of houses and cottages by the junction of the A68 and B6278 roads. To the north of the houses, on the A68, is the Country Motel, the Manor House Inn and a campsite. Carterway Heads forms part of Shotley low Quarter Civil Parish.
