The original alignment of the A68

  • Description

"This section of the A68 led right in front of the Manor House Inn, but in now runs a few tens of metres to the right, with an eased curve, and the old road surface is now the Pub car park. The archaeological interpretation of the levels suggest that this major route was very much narrower on this alignment." Photo by Bob Harvey, 2018.
