Blindbothel Civil Parish

Blindbothel is a civil parish in the Allerdale district of Cumbria, to the south of Cockermouth. It has a small population (148 people in 2001 census) with a number of hamlets, such as Mosser, spread over an area of 1230 acres. Blindbothel Parish Council is now working in partnership with the neigbouring parishes of Buttermere, Lorton and Loweswater, on the Melbreak Communities Action Plan.[1]
