Blagraves, The Bank
Blagraves, nos. 30 and 32, The Bank in Barnard Castle is a Grade 1 Listed building. "A 16th Century house, later an Inn. The accession of James the second was celebrated here by local Magistrates and there is a tradition that Oliver Cromwell was entertained here in 1648." (blue plaque on the building). Blagraves is Grade I listed on the National Heritage List for England.
