Birtley


Birtley is a village in Northumberland, located about 4 miles south-east of Bellingham and 9 miles north of Hexham. St Giles' Church here, dates from the 12th century. The Manor House dates from the 17th century. The village and surrounding area form Birtley Civil Parish

Not to be confused with Birtley in Gateshead.
