Allonby Primary School


Allonby Primary School is located on Moss Lane in Allonby. It is a Community school with about 20 pupils aged 3 to 11.[1] The present school building dates from 1840, with later alterations, originally established by the British and Foreign School Society. An earlier school in Allonby was endowed in 1755. This was rebuilt as National School beside Christ Church in 1837; later this was used as a Sunday School.[2]
