All Saints R.C. Church, Ferryhill


All Saints R.C. Church is located on Dean Rod in Ferryhill. The parish was formed on 1st November, 1925. The foundation stone of the church was laid on the 2nd October, 1926. The church, built to seet 500 people, was opened by Bishop Thorman on the 21st June 1927.[1] The original high altar, of Caen stone, was given by Mrs William Lawson, in memory of her husband. A western narthex was added in about 2000.
