Wolsington House
Wolsington House is a former public house on Burdon Main Row, by the Dock Road Industrial Estate, in North Shields. It is situated on an elavated position between the Fish Quay and Marina. There has been a pub on this site since 1834 (John Veitch's Alehouse). The present building was erected in 1902, designed by North Shields Architect, John Spencer, and built for the Inn Keeper A.N. Dodds. The building has been disused since 2001, but is on the List of Buildings, Parks and Gardens of Special Local Architectural or Historic Interest ('Local List') for North Tyneside.
