Wigton Baths

Wigton Baths is as community swimming pool located on Stony Banks Lane in Wigton. The baths were originally built for the people of Wigton by local land owner Edwin Banks of Highmoor, in 1901. The pool was closed by the council in 2013, after which there was a public campaign to reopen the pool. Wigton Baths Trust was formed, and went on to take ownership of the baths on the 23rd March 2015.
