Whinney Hill, Stockton-on-Tees


Whinney Hill is a distributed hamlet, located about 2 miles west of the urban area of Stockton-on-Tees and about 1½ miles north-west of the village of Elton. There are a couple of farms, an equestrian centre and a few houses around Sandy Leas Lane and Darlington Back Lane. Most of Whinney Hill is located in the Civil Parish of Elton in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees. Darlington Back Lane forms the boundary with the Borough of Darlington.
