War Memorial, Simonburn
The War Memorial is located on a green on Castle Lane, near the entrance to St Mungo's Church, in Simonburn. It commemorates local men who served in the First World War. The memorial was unveiled on the 30th May 1920 by Brig. Gen. W.H. Allgood, C.M.G., D.S.O., and dedicated by the Rector of Simonburn. The memorial is Grade II listed on the National Heritage list for England.
