War Memorial, Harraton / Fatfield


The memorial commemorates 103 local servicemen who died in the First World War and later the names of 12 people who died in the Second World War. Originally located on Worm Hill the memorial was moved to Bonemill Lane in 1997.[1]

Inscribed: "SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF/ THE BRAVE MEN OF/ HARRATON PARISH WHO FELL/ IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1919."
