War Memorial, Egremont
The war memorial in Egremont, Cumbria, was unveiled on the 8th of October 1922 by Colonel R.J. Woulf Flanagan, and dedicated by the Reverend W. Thwaites to commemorate local servicemen who lost their lives in the First World War.[1] The memorial was rededicated by the Bishop of Carlisle on the 9th of November 1952 to also remember those lost in the Second World War.
