The Victoria Buildings are nos. 42-50 even, Grainger Street in Newcastle. Dated 1874, it was built as shops and offices; deigned by Matthew Thompson for Sir Walter Scott. There were ground floor alterations in c.1980. The Victoria Buildings are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
